Shakespearean sonnet

14 mai 2007

What is your substance, whereof are you made
To leap large lengths of miles when thou art gone
Whilst I alone did call upon thy aid
Thy face hath not the power to make love groan

Pity me then dear friend, and I assure ye
To weigh how once I suffered in your crime
This I do vow and this shall ever be
Bearing the wanton burden of the prime

Reserve them for my love, not for their rhyme
Or from their proud lap pluck them where they grew
And do whate’er thou wilt swift-footed Time
And saved my life saying ‘not you

Of my dull bearer, when from thee I speed
Mine own self-love quite contrary I read

C’est du Shakespear mais c’est moi qui l’ait fait avec ce générateur de sonnets qui trouve les rimes tout seul parmis les lignes de Shakespear.
